My name is Ville Vuorinen, a Sports Photographer from Finland.
I stumbled on Sports photography by an accident in early 2008, when I was contacted by an Internet media to purchase one of my photos. Which was taken as an amateur, with no intention of selling it.
After this I was encouraged to try and market myself in an attempt to try and sell more of my images. With in two months of the first image being sold, I had quit my day job and was plunging down the path of becoming a full time photographer.
Whether by luck or by skill, these last eight months have been a success. Naturally there have been tough times and I have had to learn some things the hard way - but all in all, the gamble that I took has paid off.
With the new year, I have now archived last years images into four Collections, and will slowly start to build up the 2009 galleries for you to see. These days most of my work is also displayed at www.digitalsport.org - which is my own Sports Stock Gallery.
Thank you for all the clients that have made my dream come true and I look forward to providing you images in the coming twelve months!
